NCC Techniques #4 - Ruffian Dotticure

Here is my last post showing off some more techniques. I was going to try out my Essence Paper Print stuff to make newspaper type nails but after looking at reviews, it didn't seem like a good idea. I didn't want to waste time redoing my nails. I'll try it out later. So I decided to do a ruffian mani and threw in some dots to show off two different techniques.

Sparkling Minty Garbage

So I am showing you my first attempt at doing a waterfall mani. I think I did pretty good. Some of my lines are a bit curved. What can I say, my hands shake sometimes. Eh, I really love how this turned out. I didn't actually know what I was going to do when I painted the base color.

Falling For Nail Art Challenge - Early Sunsets

I am two days late with this one but it is because my concentration has been very lacking this past week. I actually thought yesterday was Monday. I have chiro and massage on both Monday and Thursday. I dunno. I just noticed that I was late posting a second mani because I read the dates wrong. No worries here.

Anyways, the second day of the Falling For Nail Art Challenge is Early Sunsets. I wanted to do something a bit different than a typical gradient. I actually did a layered ombre look using four holo polishes.

Born Pretty Neon Studs Review

I received some neon studs from the Born Pretty store for me to review. They came in a small wheel full of small circles and squares in six different neon colors. I decided to use the squares since I used the neon glitter polish with big hex glitters. I also used another untried polish... and it's a color changing polish! Yay! Also, they gave me a discount code for you to use. Double Yay!

Falling For Nail Art Challenge - Back To School

I have a new challenge to do. Yay! I figure it's only twice a week so I should be able to handle it. I am also reviewing some full nail water decals I received from KKCenterHK so I'm pulling double duty here. I thought the full plaid nail art would be perfect for Back to School uniforms.

NCC Techniques #3 - Skittlette

I thought I would try out doing a skittlette mani. It has two sets of alike designs with one different and in the end all the designs look pleasing together. I had this idea a while back to use these two Fall Zoya PixieDust polishes together. This mani has four different techniques going on which makes me happy. I have been trying to use multiple techniques each post for this challenge.

September Ipsy bag

I totally forgot to post the August bag. Oops! Well here is my Sept. bag. September is all about harnessing your favorite icon from Marilyn Monroe to Dita Von Teese. I absolutely love my bag... the actual bag itself is so cute! That hasn't happened in a while. I also love the stuff inside.

I Believe in Fairies

Oh man... my crazy week is coming to an end. I have a quick post for you. I recently purchased a few Whimsical Ideas by Pam polishes and have another one to show you. This is I Believe in Fairies. I just love this polish. I wish I had better pics to show off but it just wasn't happening for me.

NCC Techniques #2 - Sponged and Marbled

I decided to try something a little different. I wanted to try sponging with a water marble over it. I had seen other bloggers throw clear polish in a water marble to show off something underneath. What I pictured was a bit different but really like how it turned out.

Seuss

I know this is a day late but better late than never, right? I thought I would show a little patriotism on 9/11 by wearing a red, white/silver, and blue mani. I just recently bought Whimsical Ideas by Pam Seuss and thought... What a perfect polish! I have been lemming for this polish and finally bought it. I actually never realized I had to buy it from Pam's Facebook page.

Toni is Glitterati

The last order I placed with Sephora, I ordered a polish duo from Illamasqua. I finally decided to wear one of them. This one is Illamasqua Glitterati which is a pretty wine colored jelly with silver holo glitter in it.

August Nail Art Society bag

I was so excited to have Nail Art Society back up and running. For their comeback, they teamed up with Orly and brought us some great nail art polishes and some water decals.

Overboard with Plaid

I was really excited when I got my Nail Art Society bag and thought it would be cool to do a mani using some of the stuff I received. The NAS bag had 4 Orly nail art striping polishes and some water decals.

A-Nise Diamond Treat

I was wearing Nicole by OPI A-Nise Treat and thought I should add a bit of pizzazz. It's pretty by itself but I tend to get bored with plain manis. It's weird because I didn't really get bothered by wearing one color until I started blogging. I am a strange one.

NCC Techniques #1 - Unique Hearts

Wow, I can't believe it is September already! This month we have chosen to show off some techniques. I have brought two different ones to the table today. I did a tape mani using blue tape and a heart hole punch. I also did a saran wrap nail. I wanted to show off my Mari Moon Multi Girl Unique set which has amazing multichromes in it. I had a hard time trying to figure out a pic for my little blurb. I have lots of pics in this post so be ready!

Sticks N' Studs

I recently went to the Three Days Grace concert in Seattle and it was awesome. It was my third time seeing them and they were still great with a different singer. I had to have punk rock nails to go with my outfit. This is what I came up with.

Not From Ph♥enix

I went on a mini vacation from work and my computer. Well I did get on my tablets and phone to play games. I did do some nail art while off though. I really wanted to hand paint little hearts.
