June '13 Ipsy bag

June's Ipsy bag was not as exciting as the last few but it is still pretty good. The theme for June is "On The Wild Side" though, besides the bag, doesn't really make sense. Maybe it's just me. I dunno. Anyways, check out the stuff that I got.

Google Reader reminder

Google Reader is gone as of tomorrow, July 1st. I am suggesting Bloglovin' as the way to follow me. I really like it and it is easy to use. Here is the link to follow my blog on Bloglovin'... http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/4005508/glam-fiend.

There are other ways to follow me as well... Feedly, The Old Reader, Digg Reader, Pulse, etc. Anyways, make sure to move your feeds before tomorrow!

White-Kwik-Silvr Frenzy

I have this cute aqua with white stripes top and thought it would be cute to match my nails to it. I hadn't done anything using striping tape in a while. After taking the tape off, I thought it would have been cool to do an ombre striped mani. I will have to do that soon.

Pussy Galore's Pink Ombre Tips

Well I thought I would spice up a OPI Pussy Galore which is what I wore to my interview a few days ago. Didn't get the job but it's ok. I'm not sure it was for me. I really enjoy where I work now. Anyways, I had decided it would look cute to do an ombre mani just using my tips. I also wanted to mix textures a bit.

NCC Neons #3 - Brushes Neon Rainbow

Well this was meant to be posted yesterday but I got sidetracked and forgot. Oops. This is my third neon mani for my Nail Challenge Collaborative group. I thought doing a brushed look would be cool. I just happened to put the colors on in almost a rainbow. It wasn't intentional when I was doing it.

Royal Velvet and Colorful Parrots

So last weekend I went shopping and stopped by Sephora looking at the polish. I decided I kind of liked the feathered looking polish from Nails Inc. I had bought a bunch of micro slices in different colors and made a polish using them. Since the polish I made is so colorful, I thought it would look best over either a very light or very dark color and went with a dark duochrome polish.

Striped and Textured Butterfly

I really need to get motivated and do more manis! I have been slacking off... well I waste 6 hours a week at the chiropractor/massage (torture) therapist. These 6 hours are precious nail art time. Anyways, I thought I would try something a bit different. I did a striped mani with a cute acrylic butterfly.

NCC Neons #2 - Neon Green Opal Has Gone Overboard

So I thought I would use the neon green polish I had talked about in my last post. I have been dying to use it because it is my only Barry M polish and green is my favorite color. I decided to do something simple with tape. I love these two colors together.

NCC Neons #1 - Tightrope with Blue Drop Bubbles

So I'm pulling double duty here. I am reviewing a nail foil and thought it would look cool with neon colors. I did a green mani and it looked cool but I messed up the foil. I decided to use a different color that needed less coats. I went with a neon purple though it is harder to see through the foil.

Impossible Jinx

Hey everyone! With this mani, I thought I would try a gradient using liquid sand polishes. I know it is hard to see but it's there... I promise. Since the gradient isn't very prominent, I threw on a cute bow.

Souse Framed

Here is my second framed mani. I was on the fence about if I liked this look but I think it depends on colors used. This one was all hand painted. I am proud that I did a pretty good job making it look even. I really like these colors together.
