Here is my final installment of the July Flowers theme. I had so many different ideas but decided it would be a good idea to do roses. I thought it would be cool to throw a few different techniques... saran wrap a color on top of a textured polish before stamping on top of it.
The July Ipsy bag theme is Beach Beauty. I wish I could go to the beach but it is too cold at the beach to hang out. Bummer right? If only it was as hot as it is where I live... low to mid 80's! I know it doesn't sound that bad but most people here don't have air conditioned houses and stuff like that so it is a bit miserable. So here are my items...
Can you believe July is almost over? I can't... especially since I am just posting my third flowers mani. Not worried about getting in number four before the end. Anyways, I wanted to do dots with flowers. I don't do dots too often and I wanted to see how well I could make a diagonal lined pattern of dots. I did pretty good I think. I put some flowers on my ring finger for a bit of contrast and to have a flower mani to post.
I finally decided to wear my second set of Kiss Nail Dress I received in my May Nail Art Society box. I am hoping that Nail Art Society comes back online soon. I would never have bought nail stickers. I might invest in some more. Anyways, this set of stickers have a 3D effect to them... the gold dots are raised to give it more of a jeweled look. It also helped reflect the light better.
I was so excited to find the Nicole by OPI Gumdrops at Walmart a few weeks ago. I actually did this mani a while ago but forgot to post it. Oopsy! I gotta say that it is pretty. My pics don't do it any justice.
For my second July flowers mani, I decided to use some of my dried flowers. My dried flowers only had 3 of each color so I went with greens, blues, and purples. I've actually had these for about a year along with other flowers. I don't use them often because I prefer a smooth nail... at least I used to.
I can't believe I haven't posted anything since the 4th. I keep saying I am going to post more often and do the opposite. Hopefully my motivation gets better soon. Now on to my mani. The theme for July is flowers. I decided to do a bit of stamping for the first one.
Happy 4th of July! Not only is it the birthday of signing the Declaration of Independence but it is also my dad's and best friend Alisa's birthday. I have many reasons to celebrate. I had a hard time deciding on one look so I have created a skittles mani.
Here is the last of my neon manis for the challenge. I am only a day late. I think I lost track of time. The end of the month came much quicker than I expected. I wanted to show off the neon set of the Kiss Nail Dress I received in my last Nail Art Society boxes. I have to say that I really like these stickers. This was the first time ever putting a full nail sticker on and it was nice and easy to do.
