Here is my summer flower garden. These are real dried flowers. I couldn't find the other style I have. No worries though. I can't find most things because I am in serious need of organization techniques. I am also lazy and don't put things where they belong.
I thought it would look cool to use a green background with the colorful flowers. I got these off of eBay for a couple bucks. I got 12 different colors, a few flowers in each color. This is my first time using flowers so it was a learning experience. I think I would do it a bit differently next time I use them.
So my base color is Nubar Reclaim. I thought a light holo background would be cool. It doesn't really show though. To apply the flowers, I put a thin coat of Seche Vite, pressed the flower on my nail, and topped it with Gelous.
Here is a close-up of my thumb. I think the yellow and orange flowers showed the best. The other colors kinda look like blobs.
I think that it might have looked better if I cut up the flowers and placed them individually. It still looks cool. Have you ever used dried flowers in your nail art?

Thank. It makes me feel great when I read all these stories. It helps me from hopelessness and make me more stronger to fly… thank… for everything.
ReplyDeleteI personally haven't used real flowers in a mani yet. I think yours looks very pretty though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment. I think using real flowers is something I would rarely do. Luckily they are cheap and last forever :)
